Nooks, Kindles, and E-Books Oh My!
 
Did you get a new Nook or Kindle for Christmas?  Did you know you can download books for free by using Woodlands Downloadable Library powered by Overdrive?  Confused on where to begin?  The site offers help screens and online tutorials to get you started. 
 

New Night for Book Club
There will no longer be a Thursday Night Book Club. We will now have a Monday Evening Book Club starting on Jan. 9th @ 6:30 p.m. We will be discussing the book Devil in the White City by Erik Larson. This is a non-fiction book about the Chicago World's Fair of 1893 and the serial killer who was on the loose there. Stop by and join us for a lively discussion.
     
             


 Four Artists You Should Know
 
Listen to the stories, understand the lives and recognize the works of Rembrandt, DaVinci, O'Keefe and Warhol.  Be an expert in a very short time.  Classes will be held in Meeting Room A at the Tecumseh District Library.  The classes will be taught by Jean Lash from Community Arts of Tecumseh.  The cost is $20 for the series or $5 per class.

 PICK UP YOUR LIBRARY MATERIALS AFTER HOURS!
Our 24-hour book locker is now available for you.  The book locker is located at the rear entrance of the library.  Simply punch in your library card number and you can pick up your reserved item even after hours.  Your items will be available for 24 hours after notification.  Stop in at the circulation desk for all the details!
